When I was younger I always wanted $$ in my purse and my parents were against an allowance so I had to find a way to make money on my own. It seems to me you are without a drivers license, so if that is correct then you must evaluate your situation. Since you need money you must go to where you would be able to make money and without transportation that could be difficult. I am unsure of the community you may live and that could help if you live amoungst neighbors but if you are in a rural setting it may be hard to find work. My suggestion to you would be to ask your neighbors if they have any yardwork or small odd jobs you could do in order to earn $$$. Make sure your parents know where you will be at all times. You must feel comfortable with the individual and if you feel uneasy, walk away. It could never be worth putting yourself at risk. I found a job weeding Mr. & Mrs. Gowan's garden and flower beds. The elderly couple taught me what to pull and what not to pull. We worked side by side at times and since I did a great job I always had work during my summer breaks from school. It was a great opprotunity to learn and getting to know your neighbors could benfit both parties. Once you show good work habits they will tell their friends and then you will be asked to work for them as well. You will always have those small jobs at hand as you grow and then when you age and time goes by you can always return and lend a hepling hand to the neighbors who did the same for you. Some people have forgotten "neighborly love". In today's society you must be cautious but the world is still full of considerate and caring people. I learned alot from that sweet little couple and never lost touch with them. As I grew up and moved away their kindness was still close to my heart even until both had passed on. The experience was great and I always had money and was proud to be the first in "the clich" to have purchased my own car. Thanks for the ?? You brought back many memories for me. If it is something that they think is unimportant I would say you should forget about it or maybe put up with changing diapers. |

I don't know how old you are but my son wanted to make some money for something he wanted to buy last year. He asked me for a $5 loan and a car ride for a couple of hours. He took the $5 and we went to a dollar store and he bought $5 worth of candy bars that were on sale for 4 for a $1, he then had me drive him to strip malls and he walked into every business and told them he was trying to earn some money and asked if they would like to buy a candy bar. He sold them for 75 cents a piece. I swear almost every person he came in contact with bought a candy bar and most gave him a dollar and told him to keep the change. We went back to that dollar store a couple of times that day and he made the money he wanted and a little extra. Don't know if this helps, but if you really want the money bad enough you will think of a way. |

What I do is chores. Any!
washing dishes, vaccuming, mowing the lawn, dusting the house, cleaning/ washing the walls down, painting,organizing my brother's messy room (cuz he's lazy), helping my parents with anything, ect. there are all kinds, try those if any? Hope this helps? |

Ask your parent if there are any household chores they want done and would pay you to do. You know, the kind of thing they don't really get around to but have been meaning to do for some time. Like cleaning out the basement, cutting the hedge, de-icing th efreezer and cleaning it. Then name your price and start negotiating. |
