Uniform ideas for employees of a childcare center, Some are both drivers and childcare providers?
Keep 'em very simple. You need to be able to wash them often, due to spills, etc. And, you don't want to spend a lot on uniforms when it's challenging already to pay childcare providers a good salary/wage.

I worked childcare for many years and I'll tell you the first thing you learn about attire is avoid anything with collars or buttons. A child hanging on you will rip that in an instant and they aren't concious enough to think not to.
The scrubs idea is great as long as you're working inside. Scrubs don't offer much protection in the way of getting wet or getting torn by a plant or something.

i would suggest scrubs with kid like pictures on them. you can get them dirty, they are cheap and everyone can pick out their own designs so its still like having options on what to wear to work every day, plus the kids will really dig the cool pictures on them, kinda like a conversation starter.

First of all... I am not sure why they need uniforms? But... I think pants (plack or khaki) and a nice polo top with the logo on it would be nice.

I would suggest that you find long jackets with your logo for the drivers. When anyone takes on the driving duty, they have to wear this coat as an visual ID for the child and others arround him. If the caregiver does not wear this coat then they are oviously working indoors.
This will allow the children to collet to the call from the right person.

Agreed, Polo shirts are a nice compromise between uniforms and casual clothes.

Have the drivers wear white shirt with black or khaki pants. The childcare providers wear blue, red, black shirt with black or khaki pants. Best Wishes!

Don't wear them. Maybe all wear the same tee shirts. Kids are put off by uniforms. What's wrong with wearing regular clothes?
