many people approach it from this point of view, and fail.
The way to start a killer business is to have an idea that worthy of starting a business first. then that idea, product or service drives everything you do.
I see you are just looking for ideas at the moment, thas good.
But your first part of the question is "want to start my own busienss". This is a tell-tale sign that you are more interested in running a business than having the idea, the idea is just necessary for you.
Having the thought "i want to start my own business" as the foremost thought may cloud your mind when looking at ideas.
Having been running my own businesses for 30 years, i dont think thats the right way around.
First the idea. If it warrants it, start a business. |

Best advice I can give is to start a business involved in something you enjoy doing. Make sure you have plenty of capital. Once you decide what you are going to do, do some research in your area to see if it will be appealing to the locals and what sort of prices you can set etc. Then put together a business plan. There are books in the library that will explain how to create a business plan. Take this plan to the bank of your choice to get a business loan. |

Enrol in any of the buisness courses available now- there are many courses on the subject get some fundamental knowledge frist to know what is invloved in setting up a buisness then try to see where there is a gap in the market. Get pashionate about he subject then research it.

My daughter set up a Pet Care at home business, walking dogs (she walked them to pick up kids from school), visiting houses when pet owners were away and feeding moggies, birds, bunnies, etc. Some caged animals she would agree to look after in her own home (cockatiels, hampsters, etc).
She charged £6 a visit for fairly local visits, extra if it meant using her car (petrol and so on). Double time for Bank Holidays.
It was so successful that she had to take on "staff" who were self-employed and, I think she charged £1 for the introduction and doing the paper work for each customer, on top of the basic rate of pay.
She would run a suction cleaner around before customers returned home (especially if there was mess from scattered cat litter and bird seed).
Eventually, she had her own web site and recommendations from satisfied customers.
Good luck in whatever field you decide to venture - you almost certainly won't get rich working for someone else! |

You got to know what you wanna do , no use in asking for good business ideas if you dont have the know how of the business.What do you currently do , can you start a business doing that or freelance it , are you willing to train up on another profession ,trade etc .Do you have any capitol to start up with , your location could also reflect on the business you want to start. |

This is my experiences in started up my own online business.
-Don't ask for any best business or best product to start up. McDonald is not selling the best burger in the world. But by applying a good business strategy, he can make his business success and globalization.
-Do some market research on your area.See what is the requirement on that area.
-Plan the marketing strategies to promote your business and product.
-Improve your business knowledges from time to time. Remember this, KNOWLEDGE = WEALTH.

Hi, you should consider selling custom t-shirts. You can create your own designs, or people can come to you indicating what THEY want (like sports teams, special groups, businesses).
You can do this with a silk-screen machine or heat press, but the heat press machine is actually much easier to use and more cost efficient. You basically print out your design on special transfer paper, then you place it face down on the blank shirt and finally, you have your heat press transfer it (think of a super hot iron). Lots of people love custom shirts. Blank shirts only cost less than a couple of bucks so the markup potential is very high $$
