My friend has the same problem, so he started his own business, poo pick-up...he knocked on doors of people in his neighborhood who have dogs and offered his service, he bought a pooper-scooper, a bucket, and trash bags, he has about 20 customers and goes to each yard twice a week, charges $20 per week, he makes $400 tax free a week for 20 hours of work.
I would gladly pay $20 not to have to do it myself. |

Hi ya, thought the other day with a friend that this could be a good one. My idea is to set up a business for couples, married people etc... who would pay to see themselves having sex. Just wait there's more. We are the crew who set up the cameras in there own homes ready for recording and pick up the next day. Also offering editing, choice of dvd or video or just un-cut. Also promising confidentiality etc... As you can see I haven't got to much info as it was only just dreamed up. Just a silly idea? Maybe. Good luck anyway. |

There are some very good answers on here for low cost start-up businesses that arent trying to sell you something - although id recommend paying taxes.
Here's what I would recommend -
as much as people hate to admit it experience it experience and if you are the type that believes in rehabilitation a nonprofit community program would go along way to not only securing an income now but puts you in a better situation for employing later. |

web blogging for money is a fun job .
you can start free on blogger.com and google adsence will pay to advertise on your page and paypal lets you put a donation jar as well.
you can write article with link on anything you feel you know something about or you can research it. Its slow at first but after you have a few different blogs up and they gain popularity you can make good money. Just research all the advice and tools out there for blogging |

If you have a pick up truck or can get a pick up truck there are a couple possibilities. One you could start a garbage service. Two you could clean out basements and garages, there is a franchise company that does this. What they do is clean out the basement or garage, go through the stuff and find anything resalable, sell the good stuff and haul the rest to the land fill. Operate a hauling service, mulch, topsoil to homes or yard waste and debris from homes. A dump truck would be better for some of these ideas but they are more expensive so to start out a pick up truck might be a better choice. Good luck. |

You can buy an on line travel agency through the company that I am with. The parent company is publicly traded and a member of the BBB. I love it! I get the best commissions in the industry, awesome tax benefits, and the travel credentials are nice. The parent company provides excellent training, support, and mentoring.
You can look at your skills, hobbies, and interests and see if there is a profitable business that you can start that is related to them.
Businesses are not one size fits all, so doing your homework will help you weed out the scams and the ones that won't work for you. Check with government agencies that deal with frauds and scams, check with the BBB. Anyone can make a bogus website that is for or against a business or opportunity, that's why its best to go with the government and the BBB.
