I just started my business in October, 2007. I am a licensed massage therapist. My goal is to have 30 clients per week by the end of October, 2009. To reach this goal, I have broken it down into smaller, more achievable goals.
My New Year's Resolution for my business in 2008 is:
Gain 2 new clients per week every week for the entire year. If I achieve this, I will be more than half way to reaching my final goal! (If I am also able to KEEP the new clients, of course!)
To achieve this, I have come up with a number of interesting and fun promotions for each month and some for certain weeks! Coming up with the ideas was the easy part. Now I have to implement them and make them work! Wish me luck!
Also, Good Luck to everyone else in keeping their New year's Resolutions - Business & Personal!

I resolve to be even more diligent in following up on bizdev opportunities, even if they only build personal networks in the end.
I also resolve to:
- Spend 20% more time on relationship building in general than I do now.
- Spend 20 fewer hours per week at work. This will keep me on track and leave me more energized for the next day.
- Measure a task immediately before starting. For instance, if it doesn't add to the bottom line at some point, then it gets deprioritized as a pet/skunk project. |
