Well it all depends on where you heart lies. Where your passion is etc. That's what makes one business better then the other for the individual. Everyone's home based business is obviously going to be best to them. What you feel is best might be different.
I created a blog on my 360 page. Obviously the one I'm involved in is the best one for me. That's why I've been with the company for 6 years and so has my husband. To us it was more practical and everyone uses the products and services every single day. I didn't want something that people had to constantly order to make money. I wanted something that came automatically. I didn't want something that I had to have boxes of things I was selling all over the house. Just something simple with a huge income opportunity that I could tackle. And did! To me, this was best.
There's other business opportunities on my 360 page that you might think is best for you. I'm not you, therefor I can't tell you what is best for you. You'll have to make that decision. But if you'd like some ideas, you can take a look at my 360 page and take a look at half a dozen different business's.

Choose something that interests you. If you dont even wear makeup, then Mary Kay wouldnt be a good choice. If you love to scrapbook, or cook, etc then choose accordingly. You'll do better at something you are good at. Any and all of those you mentioned have the potential to make decent money, but you do have to work very hard to get clients, market yourself, and be very efficient. If you are at all lazy or not a self starter, then you will fail. Good luck to ya! |

I agree with "Lady". You should first consider what you are interested in. Or perhaps even what products you could be passionate about. It will take hard work and real dedication to build your own small business with any of these companies. The companies in your list are all legitimate and strong companies. There are several more that you may want to consider as well. Be careful though. In addition to the "real" companies there are many scams.
Perhaps a more valuable consideration than which company to join is who will you choose as your sponsor. This person will be your coach. He/she will guide you through the technique training to help you understand how to do "effective" work. This is much more than just how "great" their products are or how the compensation plan works. You should discover why spending time is not enough. You must do the productive things. Without this knowledge you can end up in the same heap as many millions of people who have decided that "these things don't work". (it's easier than admitting your own failure). The truth is these businesses do work and they will work for you if you learn the deepest secrets. Many people make them much more difficult that they really are. They will give you quantity training rather than quality training.

There really is no "best". It all depends on how hard you are willing to work (work is required in most cases. lol), and what you find important to you. I own my own business through a fifteen year old company that provides discount health plans at affordable rates that are not insurance, which means anyone can sign up (even if they've a toilet-paper roll type list of medical problems already. How many insurance companies do that?). Consumer-driven healthcare is one of the fastest growing fields in our country because of people not wanting to join HMOs or the like anymore. People are fed up and are taking matters into their own hands. I simply help them along the way, all the while telling others about this opportunity so that they can get a share of the pie as well.

The best is very subjective. it depends on what you are looking for and your needs. Of course we each think our own business is the best or we wouldn't be doing them. I would say mine is the best for the following reasons. We have been #1 for 14 years in a row outselling other brands. We are a debit free company who manufactures our own products. We are one of the highest paying commission companies. We are one of the three things that do well in a recession. we have no territories or quotas. So again what are you looking for??? I do believe you need to love whatever you do however I do know several successful people that came into the business before using our products and it can work if you do.
So my advice would be a consumable product for reorder business and making a list of what you want need from the business what is important to you. |

Here is my information if you want a business where you do not have to sell stuff. In researching hundreds of home business opportunities prior to leaving the workforce, I found very few that did not make me very nervous. There will be people who make a great deal of money but statistics show that most do not. Often those who make money, make it off of those who sign up and fail or from "get started for $ fees". Look for programs where the profit is based on people succeeding not just on joining. I finally went with a company that was totally free. That felt the best to me. I get to make money while supporting a charitable organization. If this interests you at all, please contact me.....I do not make any money when you join for free. You cannot ijust jump into any home based business wagon just because some people are making money from it or because it is popular. I advise work at home income seekers to start a home business in what they enjoy doing. Passion is what keeps a business alive. In fact, it is the life blood of your business. That been said, do yo love cleaning, then start a home or office cleaning business. Do you enjoy cooking? How about entering data online if you type fast and love typing. Do you have a customer service experience, how about a customer service work at home for companies. You can make thousands of dollars form anything you love and enjoy, the difference is the atitude and passion. Think of it, some of us are smarter than most online scammer, yet they rip us off our hard earned dollars. Determination and attitude is the key.

It also depends on whether you like to do parties or not. Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Tupperware and many others require you to do home parties to earn money.
Personally, I think that the days of home parties are gone. I did it for many years and did very well at it but found that people are "partied out". Back when I did them, it was a great excuse for the average housewife to get out of the house for a fun evening with friends. They left hubby at home to watch the kids so it was a night out.
Now, most of those housewives are empty nesters and no longer need to just get away from the house for a night. Their kids are grown and they just go out and get whatever it is they need. They have been to every Tupperware, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef party out there...several times, so it's nothing new to them.
Now they are thinking more about health, anti-aging, travel or are busy running their own businesses. That is the market you want to tap into.
I have a few home businesses and the marketing methods have changed dramatically over the years. I do nearly all of my business on the phone and the internet following proven systems...that work! I am in contact with these people for a very short amount of time, get a yes or a no, and move on. They don't feel bothered and I am making sales like crazy.
I feel it's important to follow the trends. |
