you need to get a license and a safety certificate. They come and inspect you home to make sure its safe for little ones. then they tell you have many children you can have and what ages. you can only have so many infants ,2year olds. etc. Unless you have helpers. |

a good friend of mine did this and was extremely proficient at it. her downfall was bounced checks and parents not providing foods, snacks,diapers, and things of the like. so not only has everybody here given you great advice, dint miss the obvious. establish guidelines of customer to customer personalized contracts. get in writing from each customer what you will provide and at what cost and what they will provide on a daily basis. make no exceptions, it will be hard enough to clear their checks through the bank (at 22-25$ per rubber check). also make stipulations of non payment procedures. otherwise you will be working for free. best of luck. |

Eash state has their own requirements, based on whether you do in in your home or a facility, the number and ages of children and the ratio of providers to children. If you go to your state website and do some searches on daycare or childcare, you should be able to find the requirements. |

First you need to take classes at either your local junior college or also ROP classes. From there your counsler or teacher will tell you how to get certified and how to get your license. |

You would need to take a 2 year College course in Early Childhood Education to earn your diploma. Once you have your ECE diploma, you can open a licenced daycare center in your area. You need to find a location with a fenced in yard, as well as all of the toys and equipment you will need to operate your center. Then, you place a call to the local Fire department for an inspection, the local Health Unit for a safety inspection, and the Ministry of Community & Social Services for a licence. Once you have met all of the requirements, you are ready to begin operating your center. These are the requirements in Ontario. |

get certified through the city first also there is funding avaible for you through the city as well ask about it even call the SRS and the lisencing place can help too |

Your state will have guidlines published.You should also check with local zoning & occupational license boards.
consider incorporating as a subchapter-s corp or LLC as all startup expenses can be written off on your taxes |

CPR and Go to your local CHILDRENS HOME & AID SOCIETY OR DCFS.....
They can tell you how to go about getting licensed and they also help you find clients once you are licensed |
