You boss should never yell at you. Even if a boss is to berate you, there are professional ways to do so. If you don't like getting yelled at though, don't join the Military (seriously). Tell your boss that you don't appreciate the way she treats you. If she doens't want to hear it, or won't listen to you, speak to whomever she reports to, unless its her business. Then call the office of better buisness bureau. Don't take that kind of crap the rest of your life. You can also Quit, I'm sure you'll find another job more worth your time. Forget loyalty to that bitter woman, don't be scared. |

Honey, your 16, you have a few years before you can get out of the mess you are in and you KNOW you are better than this. What you want to do is very quietly agree to disagree. You tell her that you absolutely love your job, that you DO work hard and that you are saddened/disappointed that she would think otherwise. YOU DO NOT QUIT. DO NOT GIVE UP. Sometimes people love to push you down. She will more than likely continue this crazy bs for the duration of the time you are there. Think on this though. She would be losing quite a guy if you leave, and who would suffer??? The innocent reptiles, and for what? Her stupidity. You stay for your time and if you still cant work with her, if she is still being a jerk to you, then when you are able to go into the NAVY you let them throw you a going away party and then you get out and enjoy life. Sometimes we have to endure a big a**ed burden before we get a nice reward. This is your time, and after all you are a great guy. Your going to get through this and the time is going to fly. Just find a good friend OUTSIDE of work that you can blow off steam with because women are notorious for finding your buttons and pushing them. Dont do anything harmfull, agressive or mean in return, because believe me, nasty bitches get thier comeuppance sooner or later. :) Take Care sweety and keep your composure :) You are going to be a beautiful MAN, but she will alwasy be a stupid *****. :)-Rachel. |

Don't yell at your boss no matter how angry you are...but you can be assertive if you believe you can logically defend yourself. ( I don't know what happened with the snake). If she'll keep you on don't quit...it's always easier to find a new job if you're already working. Work by definition is doing what your boss wants.
Sorry, but you're young...cool your heels and think with your head not your gut.
Aren't you too young to join the Navy. Man, I'd get out of it if I could and that's my suggestion to you. |

Don't yell at your boss.. It's disrespectful and will do you no good what so ever... The navy may be a wise decision for you a few years down the road... But for now you can look for another job if you don't like that one... If you rely on your job as a source of income then I don't recommend getting angry and quitting... Go find another job then give a two weeks notice. I understand you dislike your boss, but think about yourself in the future, not your boss.. |

keep your cool. it will only get worse if you get mad or even stay calm and try to defend yourself. be calm. apologize. ask her what you can do to improve then tell her you will work on it, then try to when you go back to work. |

Just stay cool. By going off at her, you will only prove her right in her own mind. Stay cool and she will probably realise she may have been a bit harsh. Even if she doesn't, you don't want it to escalate into something that could go on your permanent working record or maybe get you in deep kaka with the law. |
