I believe education is the first step in evaluating business opportunities. Two things to look at - #1 - the comp plan. What is it actually going to take to generate the income you desire.
#2 The policies and procedures. If the site doesn't have them listed, I would ask myself why?
I wrote a blog on advice for working from home. There is a link in the 2nd paragraph of my profile. It is NOT a commercial, not a 'come on' to get you into whatever I am doing, and I have NO control over the google ad word spams that are placed there. It is HOWEVER some good information on what to look for, what to run from, etc...
Also on my profile is a link to the "MLM Legality Test" written by a very well know MLM attorney.

Considering all the baby boomers, escalating cost of medical treatment, societies recent concern with becoming more healthy and living longer, I would tend to agree. However, when evaluating a business of this nature, make sure you are not getting into something with over-priced products. The reason they are over priced in most cases is so that the company can pay out a bit of commission. How much commission again, is in the comp plan.

There ARE ways to make money with BOs, but it's tough to find a good one.
Here's what I've learned along the way!
First of all, don't make the same mistakes I did. If you see a website saying, "Earn £15K ($30K A Month Easy Money!", then run away. It's not worth your time.
The days of making millions online in a week are over.
The days of making money online, however, are not.
There IS money to be made online, but you need to learn to do it the "right" way.
1. Find a problem in people's lives
2. Address the problem and solve it
3. Create a website selling your solution
4. Market your solution to the people with the problem
5. Review how well it's working/not working
For your website:
1. Buy one on eBay (Pretty cheap, and quick!)
2. Make one yourself (Make sure it looks professional!)
3. Hire the local web designer (expensive!)
4. Hire someone from GetAFreelancer.com to build it (A LOT cheaper than number 3)
It's a simple process, but there's a lot involved.
