What are you passionate about? What do you love to do? Find that and you're on your way to opening a small business. I started mine a year ago at http://www.romantic-oregon-coast.com using Site Build It and have been experiencing a lot of success.
Having a business that is exclusive to the Web, keeps overheard as low as you're going to get and opens the door for you to do exactly what you enjoy. You're only limited to your creativity and it's so nice when you can make money from something you really enjoy. |

Both of these are websites that will help give you information on how to get started with a small business. Neither of them will tell you that you need to pay for their services. I work for a financial institution's small business department; and I refer those two sites to hundreds of customers a week. |

Start by taking a look around your city and see what's missing. Finding an untapped niche is a great way to start your own business. Make sure it's something that you are going to love doing though, because it will consume your free time and you have to enjoy it to make it successful. |

If you've never operated your own business I suggest you open a home based business that is low risk and has low start up cost. That way you can learn business principles while building capital for a traditional business if you still want to open one. The sources below will help guide you and give you some criteria on what to look for.
Good Luck!! |

I have done Avon for almost 2 years and I know of many people who sell the products to their co-workers, which is very easy being you don't have to travel to make those deliveries.
For $10 people are usually really excited of started their own business for such a small price. |
