I am a member of one on line business that is very low to start up exactly $9.95 a month. It is a MLM but this one works because you get sign ups very easily. You do have to get the word out on your own but it's not hard at all. The nice thing is you get Free Products & Services of high value to keep and you save and make money at the same time. The website is updated daily with Free Items so you get new stuff daily. The money you will save by receiving the free items alone will pay for your membership. Keep in mind if you get referrals you will pay for your membership right there. It does take some work on your part but the signups are easy because who doesn't want free stuff? Hi,
There are quite a few options but promoting affiliate programs is one of the easiest and quickest.
Affiliate programs allow you to sell other people's products and earn a commission. So, if you have a website about say Fishing, than you could promote someone's ebook about fishing and earn 50% or so commission every time a book is sold through your site. See the Marketplace at http://www.clickbank.com for lots of examples of ebooks you could promote.
Also, have a look at the free Make Money for Newbies ebook at http://www.makemoneyonlinefornewbies.com/?id=44 because as it's name implies it is specifically designed to help newbies get started at earning money online. Myself and three of my friends have been using it because it's a simple, step by step guide that anyone can follow but most importantly it works.

There's lots of them out there but where you want to start is by asking yourself what you'd like to do or be involved with?
If you're not sure what would turn your crank, then start looking at what's in the market trend, something that will be a continuous growing market using high quality products as junk will only be one time sales.
You want consumable products that people like and want to continue using, guaranteeing you a continuous or residual income.
Also, sort out what you are willing or not willing to do, write a list if criteria for yourself such as whether or not you want to do direct sales, cold calls, home demo's, etc etc.
Once you know what it is you want, make sure that the companies you're looking at are legit, that they have a low start up cost and that they supply training and on-going support for you.
