Consider cleaning houses or small offices. My aunt became unemployed at age 55 or so. She was an RN but had not worked as one for years. She decided to try her hand at starting a business cleaning small offices. It was a good choice. After a few months she was able to hire a person to help her then ultimately hired 3 or 4 helpers. She made a good living from this for about 8 or 9 years. Or consider cleaning houses. Neither of these jobs seem glamorous, but both fill a need. The clue seems to be to dress nicely when applying for a position. Even though you will be cleaning, people care a great deal about appearances. Whatever you do, do not pay money for a potential job or small business information. Most of those out there are scams. They just want your money. Always use spell check when you put anything on the computer. Your written word says a lot about you also. |

Setting up from home takes a lot of hard work and if you are passionate about something you can make it work. Like you've said you are good on the computer, you are mobile in your town... brainstorm ideas that would utilise what you are good at... there are all sorts of things that you could start easily and cheaply, just takes a bit of thought .. maybe a concierge or something like that? Maybe work that can be done on the computer from home like data entry?
Once you've come up with an idea, investigate if it would be utilised, how much money you could make from it, i.e. how much work and how much return etc.

My experience is similair to your own. I looked at Ebay a while back and decided it wasn't for me. I then started reading up on Affiliate Marketing but found that it was much more complicated to get buyers to have a look at what you where pointing them toward. I think I've found the perfect business. It's easy to set up, it provides me with a generous income and best of all it was FREE to set up.
