What are some legitimate "work at home" jobs?

There are a few work at home jobs out there. But the ones that are good, your lucky to make minimum wage and some up around $12 an hour. It's not enough income to survive on. I'd suggest if you really want to work from home, is to start your own home based business. There are plenty of options in this area.
My husband and I started our own business over six years ago in this and it's just incredible. We got involved in the telecommunications industry. We partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet, video phones, VOIP, digital, Satellite T.V. and all the major cellular phone companies have partnered up with them too. How many people do you know that uses any of these services? How would you like it if you could save people money on their services that they are going to be using every day, and make a percentage of everyone's payments? Think about how much money you can make in this industry. It's just incredible.

If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.

Just do your due diligence and listen to the people who have succeeded at a home business when making your decision. There are tons of people on the internet that are out there saying certain home businesses are scams and they're saying that because they tried the business and failed. OR they're just badmouthing competing businesses to promote their own. Either way - I chose not to listen to people who failed at a business because no matter what business I looked into starting, there will always be people who failed. I chose to listen to the people who succeeded.

So here's my advice when looking into a home business: find a company with products that are in demand and get you excited, a company with a turnkey system you can plug into that leverages your time and sign up under a sponsor/advisor that is having incredible results and will train you personally.

you have to to have a good imagination and then be able to pull your thought or idea out of your head and make it a reality . but have a plan . creation is your friend and money is your burden that is until you start to make a profit off of your product. sponsors are a good way to find the money to get you going

I think what people are concerned about when they ask that question is whether they can make an equal amount or more money than their full time jobs.

Any job where you DO not need to cheat, steal or lie can be a legitimate job that you can do at home.

That means that all you have to do is open up your mind. ANY thing where you can run from home and get money doing it CAN be turned into a real business.

You are probably receiving a lot of information about possible work from home jobs. I have been in your shoes and have spent many hours online researching and trying to find the right one. The one thing that I ended up figuring out is that there are no true work from home "jobs." In a work from home job you usually start out working for a company and then for whatever reason, sometimes, the company will let you take your job home; thus work from home job. I would never pay a company to work from home.

However, there are many work from home â€œopportunities.â€ These opportunities provide you with the vehicle to work from home and build your own business. The difficult or frustrating part about finding the right opportunity is that there are many offers that are not legitimate, but scams. Theses scams make it difficult for the companies that truly offer a legitimate opportunity to work from home. Usually, work from home opportunities have a small investment to start your own business. These are okay as long as they are around $100, anything much more than that and I would stay away. Also if they require a monthly overhead to run the business it should include things like your websites, training, back office system, and support. Remember any business that you start and want to continue will always have start up costs and monthly expenses, if it doesn't then it is probably not a legit business.

I am a stay at home mother of 2 (ages 4 and 2). My husband works 6 days a week and I do not have much help in the area of child care for my children. On my journey to finding the right work from home opportunity I tried everything from selling vitamins, lotions and many other product based companies. I also looked into processing information online. You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

I've given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.
