There are things you could do. I've tried a lot of ways over the years and only one has worked for me. I don't have to stock an inventory so just know you don't have to sell product. As far as the money, some things cost very little and come with a money back guarantee so just research your company and don't give too much up front unless you can try out the business and get your money back easily. Something like that would be ideal for you so you don't have to spend a lot of time on it to make money and you will have more time for your studies. Jennifer |

Owning a business is a great step in securing your financial future. Owning a "home" based business has awesome tax benefits. Look at your skills, hobbies, and interests- I'm sure that you can find a profitable business related to some of them. Do your homework and make sure that the companies/businesses are not scams before forking over any money.
A few ideas off the top of my head- tutoring, paper typing service (many are very slow at typing their reports), researcher (for people doing their thesis)...
I own an on line travel agency through a really great company that is publicly traded and a member of the BBB. I love it! I get the best commissions in the industry, huge tax benefits, and the travel credentials are very nice. The parent company provides excellent training, mentoring, and support. You could become the go to guy for going home, Spring Break, and all the studying abroad trips.

The best one I could think of is tutoring some other student. A dorm is too small to do much. You could search online for that type of business but becarefull, most of the work on line or at home are scams! Be especially afraid of any type of work that has you "front" ANY money. It is a scam. |
