Unless you like making peanuts for small orders, and don't think time is money... then, maybe the benefit is the experience of doing it only to find out what you don't want to do. aresee	If you are an outgoing person, don't get frustrated at rejection then there might be benefits, but on the whole unless you are a terrific sales person, its a very hard life. Firstly you start selling to your friends and family because you think they won't say no, and on the whole they do say yes but probably only buy to help you out to begin with, then you have to go calling on neighbours and people you don't know. Very hard, especially as there are so very many Avon agents. If you are at work and can take a catalogue in there and get people there to buy, its not such hard work, but sales is not for everyone and you have to sell a lot to make any decent commission.
