From my personal experience and knowledge, I think the most ideal home based business opportunity is in the telecommunications industry. The one that I know that offers the best income opportunity is a 15 year old world wide company. The largest direct selling telecommunciations service provider in the world. Donald Trump has endorsed this company, uses their products and is highly involved in the company. They have been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company. They market in services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet services, digital and video phone services, VOIP, Satellite TV, as well as all the major cellular phone providers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Spring, Altell, Nextell etc. You basically save people money on services that they are already using and paying for each month, and put people on new services that they don't already have. One way you make an income in this business is everytime these people pay their bills, you make a precentage every single month.
So in my opinion, this is the most ideal business to get involved in because it's a product and a service that people use every day regardless of their finanical being. When money gets tight, their going to pay these bills, and hang onto their phones. With other businesses I looked at, majority of the products out there, people can go to the dollar store, or a grocery store and purchase them cheaper when money gets tight. With telecommunciations, they're not opt to doing that. |

You received a lot of good answers and one real bad one... "get off you butt and get a REAL job?? Last time I checked owning your own business was not only a real job it is a REAL good job! Owning your own business rather it be a home business or something else is far from being lazy. Some would say working for other people for the rest of your life is lazy, to lazy or scared to start your own business and pursue a great future. Anyway, finding the right home business can get frustrating. Though there is great legit opportunities available there is also a lot of junk. So be careful and do your research. As far as "ideal", that is up to what you are looking for? What will make you happy and what you can see yourself doing.
