You need to buy equipment and supplies and pay yourself and employees.

Know what you're going to do and how you're going to do it. Also need to know how much money you expect to make and what the competition is doing.

3. You have to GO FOR IT!
Most ideas never get off the ground because people are scared to start. You have to start! You also have to have perseverance.

Other things you might consider:
a. make a website - it makes your business look bigger
b. make a nice business card - looks more professional
c. tell everyone about your business - family and friends can send you referrals
d. make customer service a top priority - bad service can hurt you the most
