Well, I will be in the hospital for New Year's. I'm going to Memphis very early tomorrow and will have a fun filled day of MRI's, chem panels and the delightful (lol) adventure of nuclear med. hahah If I'm lucky I might get a leave on New Year's Day and get to go to my parent's house, who live about 90 miles away from there. Either way, I will be having a bone marrow biopsy on Friday.
So, I guess what I'll be making for New Years is a chemical chart and some statistics. lol I hope your New Year holiday is wonderful, Sweet Judy.

We're having red beans, rice and ham this year. That's because we only just got a stove hooked back up late this afternoon. We're still in the middle of remodeling our kitchen. The tile floor still has to be laid but we finally were able to get our new cabinets and new granite counter tops put in. What a job this has been for my husband, oldest son and youngest son.
Usually, my hubby and I cook pork chops and black-eyed peas for luck. We're Southerners and pork and black-eyed peas are very common to have down here for New Year's Day. Since our kitchen is still barely usuable, we're making do with something easy this year and it's only my hubby, our youngest son and me. Lol, our youngest is not crazy about black-eyed peas even though we season the heck out them. If our boy is hungry enough for a home cooked meal, he'll eat whatever we cook. |
