Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?
Have you thought about tutoring or teaching a night class at an adult school?
By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

I also had this problem. To solve this, I bought one computer, printer, scanner, webcam etc. Searched for a good genuine website which could offer genuine home based job. I was able to find one. Now I am doing data conversion home based job and sponoring the website also. U can also do that way. This company gives regular work as well as payment also in time. U can also do that way. |

I agree with one of your other answers in that it should be something you enjoy doing. Since I have no idea what that would be I will just list some ideas for you.
If you sit down and remember what it was like for you when you first got out of school and were off to start your first job (what you wished you would have known or had handy those first few weeks or months) you may have a business there. You can create a "What every teacher needs before their first day of school" kit and market it to college students via the internet, flyers and raffles for your product.
To get free publicity for this one you can create a one pager, a one page "Human Interest" story and fax it to all local TV stations and Newspapers. Make it attention: Assignment Editor as they are the ones that decide what gets coverage (week days are best as they are slower news days for local stations in general)
You can create a website and sell your own information products that have to do with kids getting organized or creating healthy studying habits, that sort of thing. Or it can even be a blog (which is free to create and maintain)
You can give free articles, stories or how to's and have your mini books on the side where they can order them and you can have them be hard copies that you mail or easier and faster still you can create them to be e-books and email it to the customer (you can accept payments through paypal)
You can start a homework program. You can have the children dropped off at your house after the parents get out of work 2 or 3 days a week, charge a flat rate and make decent money while helping the kids that may not get enough individual attention at school when they are having difficulties.
You can contact a place like "The Learning Annex" if there is one in your town or the local community college if they have a seminar catalog. Offer your expertise in the form of a seminar on any topic you like: It could be for aspiring education professionals or for parents with children doing poorly (you can give them how to advice to get them back on track) or perhaps a childrens seminar. From what I know of my local Community Colleges seminars they can either pay you a flat rate (usually in the hundreds for a few hours work) or you can risk it and accept no cash upfront but take a large chunk of the profit.
