Is there a particular thing that you can not source locally. What is it? What would you like to see more of?

A craftshop, i live in a biggish city and we only have 2 shops that sell nothing but craft stuff. We have bigger businesses that sell paper but nothing that sells proper scrapbooking and card making supplies. I have to go online and wait a week for everything to arrive!

I would like to see almost any big business come into Christiansburg, Va. Echostar/Dishnetwork is making our local economy for the working class highly unbalanced.

Character dining (Chuck E Cheese notwithstanding)! I can't believe Disney World is the only place for it.

a greengrocers would be nice as i don't like buying fruit and veg for the entire week in one go. but not one of those that leave everything to go rotten then wonder why noone buys anything then packs up and leaves due to lack of interest in the business.

also, somewhere i can get my baby's passport photos done!

A decent lap dancing club. We all have to travel 15 miles to the next town.

Fun team sports for adults. All the team sport activities are geared towards teens and kids, adults don't get out and mingle much except for the bar.

I wish we had a Hooters Resturant in Kernersville, NC. It would be better if my boyfriend and I could get a loan to open one. It would do good here.
