Sell stuff on ebay! or sell stuff on craigslist!
Buy cheap stuff online, in bulk or wholesale quantities, post it on your local craigslist, make a buck or two!
Or you can put that money in the bank and ask for CD, you will get interest rates of around 5% depeding on how much you put in. |

A paper route is about all. Your 14, go live life. There will be plenty of time for work later. Years from now you will wish you spent more time living before you got stuck in the endless work cycle. |

What you need to do is re evaluate your role models if that is what you think a business is about. Especially at 14. |

Hard to say. Find a need in your neighbourhood and then fill the need by offering a service. Brainstorm on a piece of paper needs in your neighbourhood or community. Then develop each idea and list how you can provide a service that will bring about a solution.
Have you thought of a paper route? They're much easier now than when I had one. I think all of the billing is electronic. Delivering papers gets you known in the community and you can make a few hundred a month. Stash it away in a savings account. Be penny wise.
I mowed 3 lawns every week as well as the paper route. Sometimes it lead to additional work for some of the elderly or more senior neighbours. I would do their recycling, plant bulbs, trim bushes, organize their basements and help clean things out.
Also what do you know? Do you have any skills you can offer? |

well i'd say it depends on what natural talents you have... maybe something you enjoy or at the very least don't mind doing.
you could buy a lawnmower and mow lawns.. invest in a rake and some bags and rake leaves.. my younger brother's done that since he was 12... i did ebay for a while if that interests you..
sorry i can't really think of more specifics, but you know yourself better than i do! |

Start a website! Nowadays it's not that hard! Find a hobby you like and make a site about it. You won't get over night profit, but you will make some decent money depending on how much time you invest in it.
You can go through Yahoo! or Google for ads on your site (adsense.google.com).
Yahoo! can host you site for about $10 a month. My website is breaking even after about 5 months of work. My dad's website is making $100 a month after about a year and a half.
Good Luck! |

Given that you're (hopefully) in school I think a part time job would be best until summer, then maybe you could set up a lawn care business or something. Winter is approaching so maybe you could shovel snow with a few people or something? |

Wow. try investing some of that or something (unless the market really starts diving). um, you could always buy and sell junk on ebay/craigslist for profit. not much you can do since you're not an adult |
