I always sold packs of gum. Go to SAMs club and buy the gum there and then sell it at school for a profit, but for less than the vending machine. |

Well, I can tell you one way I made some good money when I was in high school. Keep in mind this was in 1993. What I did was buy a new Nintendo System. I had a friend who worked at Wal-mart, so I got him to buy it for me using his employee discount, so I paid like $100 for it. Then using my computer I created raffle tickets and sold them for $1 each or $5 for 7 to school mates. I held the raffle for one week started it on Monday and it ended the following Monday at the end of the school day. On each raffle ticket was a spot for the students name and phone number, but what I did was write directions that the raffle drawling would be held after school at the bus pick-up loop at 3:10 pm and the winners name would be picked out of a box and they would get the Nintendo System then. Between me and a few of my best friend we sold a lot of raffle tickets and made almost $400 in sales in a week, so after the $100 I paid for the Nintendo System and giving my friends a few bucks each, I made about $200 profit. I'm sure you can twist this idea to work in 2008.
