It really depends on your concentrate or emphasis in business. Not a lot of people have a straight up business degree the more popular ones are
Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Human Resources, MIS, CIS.
From there you can break down what kind of career you can pursue but basically a business major can work for any company and it can range from being a secretary to the CEO of the company |

Well, which area are you going to emphasis? You can get a BAB in marketing (for sales or business development), Accounting (to be a CPA), Finance (to work with peoples or businesses financial accounts), Human Resource (do the hiring and general behind the scenes task's for businesses), or Operations Management( manage a business or chain of businesses).
So many choices and many people double major, or minor/major in two business courses. Like accounting and finance. Or Marketing and Op. Management |

If you are asking because you are considering going for one....I would say, anything you want....It can be a very helpful degree in many industries...Retail, wholesale, distribution, Hospitality...YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!
If you are asking because you have one and do not know what to do with it, I would tell you that you are an idiot, and should have asked this question long ago!! |
