First of all, sorry to say, but most of the sites ARE a scam.
They say its all legitimate but once you sign up and take a few surveys, you either realize that you have to pay for something and in return you receive a little more than you payed after the survey is taken. Also, sometimes they say you can earn up to $120 a day but what they really mean is you have the CHANCE. Some sites pay you points that you use to enter in drawings that occur everyday. Some cash prizes are up to $1,000 in these drawings.
Don't be sad though, there are legitimate ones. I remember finding one a while ago that literally would pay you for every survey you took and if you did product test groups, you would even keep the item. This was one of the 3 that worked out of hundreds I have checked out before. I am a chaser of get-rich-quick schemes.

I'm not sure which ads you've seen, but if they ask you for money to join, they are a scam. Many of the scam sites promise 20 to 100 dollars per survey, that is a lie.
Most legit sites only pay from 1 to 10 dollars per survey. I don't think you can make "job-like" money, but you can make maybe 50 to 200 dollars in a month if you stick with it. There are some free sites listed here:

Survey ads are false. I've done them for over a year. I created a blog on all the free survey sites I use. I I have tutorial videos and have proof of payment.

First I wanna say, any site that asks for money, OR you don't understand how the money is made, OR its too good to be true (get rich fast scheme) run! What I do now is totally free. Forever. I'm off with a broken hand, so it HAS to be free. You can put in a little time, or a lot of time. Its NOT a get rich quick scheme, but you can make a lot more money than working for someone else. It depends how good you are at it too. Its not MLM, or affiliates, or blogging for dollars, or surveys, or asking people for money. If you watch the video it all makes sense.
