This might interest you .....simple, unique, and everlasting. My friend registered for Phantomplate's affiliate programme and he seems to love the money. The company sells photoblocker spray which hides car plates from traffic/red-light cameras by overexposing the license plate and rendering an unreadable picture. He simply makes money by directing traffic to their website. Recently, I have earned money off him by selling a few cans for him. Apparently, they have wholesale price which is way below the suggested retail price.....so, he bought a few dozens and sold them (I helped!) for a profit. Online, the spray sells for $29.99....his price was $15 (and still made good money).

Why not find sources for consumable products that people either want or need ... like printer cartridges. There's no reason for people to buy OEM cartridges from Best Buy or Circuit City (do you know how many thousands of dollars are spent on them?) when you can get get reman cartridges for a few bucks and make a few bucks selling to individuals and businesses without holding alot of inventory??? Shop around for pricing and reputable companies that offer these lower priced alternatives to name brand supplies. It's not always about price. If you can offer the right product at the right price at the right time customers will find you. Once you have the inkjet business, look for other products that you can add on to increase sales... recordable CDs, surge protectors, paper, etc. You dont have to do home parties if you don't want to. Selling is a matter of finding a need in the area and filling it by being the best at it... quality products, reputation, on time delivery, fair pricing (not always lowest), branding, etc. |
