Will this event be inside or outside? Is it for families or adults? If it is outside take in consideration the weather where you are located. If it's hot, make sure to sell a cold drink such as lemonade or bottled water. Also if it is hot, think about Italian Ice, this is easy to handle on hot days. I'm in FLA so I think about what would go over here in the outdoors. Cold sandwiches are good too when it's hot. All of these the entire family would enjoy.
If it is for adults only, or if it is inside you could make meatballs, lil smokies, nachos, and something sweet like cheese cake. Yummm.. I am hungry and I hope this helps.
I don't know what the points are about yet, this is only my first day here!
Good Luck. |

Shrimp cocktail. You can just fill a short clear plastic cup 3/4 of the way with crushed ice, squeeze a little cocktail sauce on top, put a slice of lemon on the edge of the cup and hang 5 or 6 pre-cooked shrimp all around the rim. Or you could use the baby shrimp and put it all in a bowl on top of a leaf of lettuce....no ice.
Who doesn't love the seafood! |

french pancakes. great with cinnamon and sugar and lemon juice and you can easily roll them up for easy eating without utensils. not good f u in the usa though coz poeple might feel unpatriotic eating them or could be weary of them.
making smoothies/fruit juices also good. do you have a stall or do you need to be completely portable |

If you bake cookies, you can set out icing and sprinkles ect. and let people decorate them themselves. |

Make sugar cookies, cut with cute cookie cutters, and tie them in bundles of 3 or 4 with thin satin ribbon. I do this for my friends at work every holiday. Presentation is 90%, but the cookies are wonderful too! |
