They leave it on your door step. |

If a signature is required they won't leave it. They will leave a note. You can indicate on the note for them to leave it without a signature and they will attempt to redeliver. If a signature isn't required, they'll leave it at the door. |

They leave a note on your front door and come back the next day. |

They either leave it with a neighbor (if you leave a note on your door and name the owner, ask the neighbor to accept it), or they could leave it by your front door or even leave you a notice saying to pick it up at a UPS store. |

They leave you a note to say they attempted a delivery and will try again the next day, after three attempts, they leave you a note telling you that you have a certain amount of time to come in to their office and pick it up or they will send it back to the sender. I always call the office and request that they hold it there for me (once I miss the first delivery), then go in the next day and pick it up. |

They leave a card or a note and tell you where to pick it up. OR.....they try again. If you have a tracking number you can call them to see what the progress is. You can leave them a note on your door to say "if I am not home please leave a note as to where I can pick up my parcel"
Good luck. |

UPS as far as Im aware HAVE TO HAVE A SIGNATURE!
They usually informm you of WHEN they are calling. WHY cant you be there? They are only going to assume there is something sinister here, i.e. Are you going to claim you never received it or something similar????
They are excellent company. They are polite. And they deiliver when they say they are going to. They cost quite a bit for people to use them, and they obviously take great pride in what they do.
Treat them as you would like to be treated.
If you not going to be there.TELL THEM |

Depends on what the rules are for the delivery.
Some delivery requires your signature - Post Office, not sure if UPS does this too.
Some requires someone to sign - a neighbor could do this
Some requires no signature
The shipper could tell you what the policy is or so can UPS if you give them the tracking number. |

Sometimes for me they just leave it on the stoop or they have some sticky note saying that they came and next time they will come. If your not there next time they might just leave it at your door or you have to go to UPS to pick it up |

If you're not home when they come to drop it off, they usually just leave it on your porch, or they'll send a notice telling you to pick it up at the UPS office. It'll be fine if you're not home when they drop it off. |

They'll leave a note with a time for the next attempt cause they require a signature showing you received it.Be there or they'll send it back. |

I live in a small town, so they either just leave it by the door or with a neighbor. |

they will leave a note on the door with the address of the ups facility it was taken to, and will try to redeliver 1-2 more times. If you don't pick it up at the facility, or aren't present for delivery they may return it to the sender. I believe on the note they leave you can sign that it is ok for them to leave it without a signature. You just put it back on the outside of your door for them to see when they come next and they should be able to leave it unless a signature is absolutely required. For things like this I have them delivered to my employer because someone is always there. |
|

Eh?
 |
they do try to leave it near a the front door, more or less out of sight from the road, however, they will leave it in plain view if they have to |
|
