I partnered with a company about four years ago and have been very pleased with them. I love being able to work from home, Plus they are members of the BBB which was important to me with all the scams out there.
I dont have to Stock Inventory or sell products nor do I have to take orders, deliver anything or get stung with bad checks when making collections ... Did that in the past, NOT again!

My 5 year old daughter was the one who wanted me to become a Pampered Chef consultant. She was very helpful and interested when I hosted my first show and now she wants to come with me to each show I have...sometimes she can, it really depends on each hostess. It all depends on WHY you are looking for in a home based business. What is the main goal you are going after that determines your need to work from home. For me, it was to spend time with my daughter who is 2. Also, I wanted to be able to earn enough money to send her to private school, work my own hours, and have the time and money so we could take vacations or enjoy day off if we wanted.
I have tried other businesses where you have to sell products, host parties, deal with inventory and I lost a LOT of money. The company that I'm with now involves no risk. They've been around for 20 years and the CEO serves on the National Chamber of Commerce. Maybe you've heard of it before - it's Melaleuca.
The reason I like being involved with this company is that I get to do something that gives back to others as well as help my family. That is something I didn't find with the other businesses I tried. This is a more rewarding business and the pay off is great - and it's simple and easy to duplicate.

Well, if you are good at typing and have six to nine months to complete a course, you could do medical transcription. That's what I do and I am able to stay home with my two kids. I'll never work in an office outside of my home again.
