What I do is I buy computers in bulk http://www.simurl.com/bulk. Or other things.
For example I got 5 laptops in a lot or bulk. I paid 498 dollars. I sold each individually on ebay and got no less then 500 bucks each!

Think of something that you can make yourself. The less you rely on others to get your product out there, the more profit you will see. Items that weigh less with cost you less to ship. These are all things you should consider. The other thing to think about is sell something you like. You will stay motivated because you have an interest in what you are selling, and you will know a lot about your product. Good luck, and sorry I didn't give an specific examples because I don't know what you like, but I hope my general ideas help you find your focus.
