Ten hours at roughly $3.00 an hour. Take into consideration, the breakfast, lunch and drinks...possible potty training when initiated..keeping an eagle eye on the kid, tiring it out...and keeping the kid safe. The parents will let you know...Ten hours is a long time to be with a kid, I know because I have done it with my grandkids and it becomes being mommy and daddy.Occasionally, go for it. |

Way too little! When I did the same, I got at least 10/per hour. If it's a friend you could do it for a little less to help her out- but 30.00 is not really fair to you, I'd say 50.00 if you want to be really nice. |

Yes, i do think that is a resonable price. when i used to babysit i got payed two bucks an hour. it was good money and the kids werent that wild so it was good. If the babysitter has lots of sources there (e.g. food,games,stuff to do with the kids) then yes that would be a good price. |

way too little, unless this is for a friend or family. i would say around $50-$60, that should include food (2 meals 2 snacks), diapers and wipes or pull ups, a schedule of events based on age, toys and play materials based on age, mat or cot to sleep on, and some type of form to let the parent know what the childs activities including, how often and what they ate, and any special notes like you child was coughing or you child is adjusting well.
show the what the money is doing...they will appreciate it. |

I would have placed it between $3.50 to $4.50 per hour. On high side if once in a while, low side if long term. |
