The amount of money that is made by an escort varies with many factors, such as sexual attractiveness, competition from legal and illegal sources, and the commissions to be paid to the agency. Its just a flat out prostitution business--supposedly a man (or woman) paying the service for conpanionship----which is really more times then not sex...so the service is making their money off of selling sex so to say-and no it is not legal-and why you see on tv al the time that they "busted" "raided" whatever an escort service.....well maybe not all the time-but often i see it on news-probably depends on where one lives..

An escort service employs men and/or women to be the date (escort) of the opposite sex. They go on dates to office parties, dinner, etc... basically the service is used to make the customer look good in frnnt of others.

It is legal... unless sexual gestures start to be traded for money. Then it becomes prostitution. Most escort services do start having sex for money because they see how much they can make, however, some do not.

Escort services normally provide companionship. They are legal in most states unless there is any implied sex involved. If this is advertised and you pay for that service then you can be guilty of participating in prostitution. I have known friends who get an escort only to go to a high school reunion, special event or in one interesting case, you could hire an escort to come and play piano and just talk. None of these led to sex but I am the first to admit most people who hire escorts have that as a goal.

more or less like a dating service but keep in mind the person is 9 times out of 10 expecting more then just a date.... yes its leagal because they claim to only hook you up with a date and nothing more.. just like a massage parlor but we know that behind closed doors theres a lot more stuff being massaged ! get it !
