I think you mean a Shuttering Joiner
this is the worker who "crates" or boxes specific areas on a building site ready for concrete to be poured into.
when the wood is removed you are left with a construction which is the exact shape and size of the area which was shuttered! |

Shuttering carpentry i believe is making all sorts of moulds if you like for the pouring of concrete and other similar materials for foundations and structures.If you want to make a pillar of concrete for instance,you cant just pour the concrete,you need to make a "mould" which is usually made of ply and other timber for the frame,which is then removed once the concrete is set.Hope that helps you understand |
