It's so embarrasing when you are getting your hair don and you look the worst with all your hair messed and a guy goes in. So being more private would be good also while you are waiting maybe tv time because you can only read so many magazines |

More privacy would be a definate plus. I just hate when your in that chair with you hair all gooped up with foil antennas sticking out and everyone and his brother can walk in and stare you down from all angles. Thats the WORST. |

Refreshments, private rooms are a good idea. Maybe each room could have a computer that you upload your photo and you can see yourself in a multitude of hair styles/colors to see what matches you best. |

I hate, hate, hate waiting! SO I have been lucky that I got the guy from the salon to actually come to our house and do my sister, friend and myself. That way he makes good money and we don't have to wait. A unique concept would be some sort of system in which clients would not have to wait and if they do have to wait then a multi media room with internet, movies and food would be ideal! |

in a salon ... well ... more professionals to do your nails .. when they wash your hair and stuff it should be more relaxing .. they should have a room for each customer .. instead of everyone just sitting/standing around each other .. it should be a full make-over ... like clothes too ... massages for customers .. etc.. |

Well... i'm a guy.. and as a guy sometimes I wish to be pampered!! Try to make your business appeal to the opposite gender as well!!! Salons are often interpreted as "woman places".... maybe u could have somethin in there for guys too! Like maybe dating tips for nerds with a consultant, or possibly something to make a guy "hotter" (lol), but the big ticket item that no guy can resist is a place where they can get cologne and attention!!!! Offer a "win a date with a hot supermodel" contest and guys will be pouring through the doors of your business!! |
