Wow it's hard to narrow the top reasons. The web host I chose has an Alexa.com ranking of 901, so they now how to get traffic and have succeeded in training me to as well. (possibly #1)
There program is self teachable and can be done at your own pace(likely #2) In comparison to paying someone to build a top notch website, it saved me thousands of dollars.(a definite top reason for me so #3). Any website can show http or www. It has nothing to do with a web hosting quality. if you type: http://yahoo.com or www.yahoo.com it tells nothing about a website, worst a Web Hosting provider.
To me http://BullionHost.com offers it services the same way most of the honest hosting providers will do. I can not see your point here...
I am joining them after some nice talking with one of its support girls!

Before even considering the best Web Hosting Provider [whether one is faster than another, has the highest bandwidth, etc.] , you have to ask the question which Web Hosting Provider has the highest ranking on major search engines. It's that simple. And does the best Web Hosting Provider have any inside agreement with the major search engines to promote clients at certain hosting sites. For example, in America, you want to choose a primary Unix service provider; not an WWW subset provider. Unfortunately, "bullionhost.com" is a www subset. The primary high level server URL should be an http:// NOT a www. So who's the primary host providers [for residential as well as business enterprises] which have gained high or preferential indexing of their websites by google and yahoo. Here's the answer:
1. AOL.com [google.com]
2. SBC.com [yahoo.com]
Again, it makes no sense to seek the best web hosting provider unless it is also strategically placed in the hierarchy of search engines searches and has special treatment gained thru agreements with major search engines. Does Buillionhost.com has such a preference agreement with major search engines. Probably not!

I would like to choose hostmonster.com. I have been with it for 2 years, and in general, I am quite satisfied with their service. If I need to summarize 5 reasons, they would be:
