I think the best way to make money from home is getting involved in an industry that you won't have to worry about when money is tight and people go off to buy a cheaper product or not take a trip somewhere because of the same thing. One way you make an income in this industry is the companies give you a percentage of these people's billings every single month they pay their bills. The best way to make money from home, in my opinion, is to work as an affiliate promoting other peoples products. The star up cost as opposed to other stuff like Avon, is surprisingly low, and can net you much greater profits when armed with the right information! |

AVON only costs you $10 to start up. This gives you 10 brochures for your first 2 campaigns, a tote bag, samples, a helpful guide, and a bunch of other very useful information. The only out of pocket costs after that is your brochures, personal items, and demos. You are not required to buy demos it is an option. What you do is sale enough in a campaign to offset your expenditures. Your first 4 campaigns you earn 50% commission and then after that it's on a per sales based commission. Keep your friends and forget about that.
A few thoughts:
1. Don't believe anything on the internet that says you can make money at home if you can't try it for free.
2. Don't offer to pull out a credit card for a company or business you can't do a search on Yahoo and find out some info first
3. Don't try any business you can't actually find anyone who has been successful at it.
4. Don't try anything that doesn't have a forum where you can talk with others in the business.

Avon or maybe Pampered Chef, but so many women are doing it these days. Just no Mary Kay, they expect you to dump hundreds to thousands of dollars into "starting your business" Not worth it, no one buys it, the product sits in basements on shelves, in boxes, getting dirty, dusty and old. It women want to spend $13 on a lipstick, they go to Macy's or a big department store.
