You can start out by learning everything you can about the field your thinking about going into. Try to work out a way to start doing some things on the weekends in your community.
Sometimes, people can rent out space at an existing business to sell their own goods or services. For example, I know someone who started her own pet photography business. She is renting out a part of her building for someone else to have dog training classes. And she also agreed to sell pet clothes from another person who want to make pet clothes for money.
1.Try going to your local public library. There are many books out there giving advice on how to start a business. Try keywords like 'business start-up' or 'entrepeneur'. The librarian can help you find resources. 2.Even the larger bookstores like Barnes and Noble and Borders have business sections...and you can sit there and browse through books and even magazines for ideas. 3. Get in touch with the SBA (Small Business Administration)--they have loads of info too. www.sba.gov 4. Try to arrange a meeting with a business person doing what you want to do. There are people out there willing to talk about what they did to get started/become successful.
If you don't live in a city where you can run a business out of your home, my guess is that eventually you are going to want start up money. And to get that, you will have to write a business plan. |

It takes money to make money.
I suggest you to increase your credit score and save half your income. |

Start slow with private lessons either on site or inside your own home for dancing. Use your friends/family to network for you.
Posibly growing your own garden, then selling those flowers. Seeds are pretty cheap if you have land. |

I am trying to open my own business too. I would say you should always build your client base first. Do private dance lessons on the side and save the money until you can buy a shop.
If you live in the USA. There are goverment loans to help. Maybe even check your city. They have less requirements.

If you have the expertise, just seek out some close friends or relatives to join as partners and start the company, but there must be a mutual understanding on the profit sharing basis. Once you have saved enough money you can buy over the company or pump in your savings to buy a bigger share of the company. It is very advisable to start on a shared basis becos, you never know if you are going to succeed. If just in case, the company didnt do well, at least the you don lose alone. |

you can design clothes, and sell your designs to friends and family, before you open a boutiqe. you can also, work from home as a fashion consultant. put flyers, in places where girls hang out. you can also team up with a dancer (example: belly dancer) that would give those girls lessons. You'll earn mobey and decide if you want to open a dance studio or a boutique. |

One of my best friend ( she is housewife )wanted to start a boutique in residential area on third floor, while there are number of boutiques on the way in neighbouring market.
Without capital it was impossible work to attract clints on third floor in this competitive market.
I suggested her to start her business as an apparel therapist and soul healer.
I provided her a 30 hour online class, certification in alternative and complementory medicines.
Now she is out of competition, she is not only fashion advisior but also a therapist. she advise clothing as per clients disease and psycho somatic diseases.
She charge even 34-40 times more then her other ...
She has a respactable position in society, she is not just owner of boutique |
