If you really want to work from home, your best bet is to start your own home based business. Home "Jobs" are only going to pay you minimum wage. Not a sufficient amount of income to support you. My husband and I started our home based business over six years ago and it well supports our family of six. We have four children to support. a "job" isn't going to be able to do it.

Just make a website and start earning. No investment if you start with a blog.

Depending on your background, you could consider medical transcription, coding or billing.
I was a medical transcriptionist working from home for 13 years.
Many transcriptionists get their training through a course of study while others carry their medical terminology knowledge with them from other health related fields. You would need to get the terminology down, and then get started. Many companies want experience so there's a catch-22. However, doctors and hospitals may be hiring, and after a time you can work from home as many transcriptionists do.
