Ignore them. Arrogant people cannot bear to be snubbed because they believe they are superior. They may not show embarrassment but it will get to them, especially if you keep doing it everytime they appear. |

insult them in a crowd where everyone can hear and see! they hate that. they think the are above such things and are more embarrassed than you can imagine. tell them what a pompous fool they are, and how they are not only rude putting on unwarrented airs of supreriority, but they are ill-bred and totally lacking in manners and reflective of their ghastly breeding. stamp your foot and do an about-face and stamp away! (be ready far in advance with such a tirade. practice makes perfect). give them a good broadside and they will remember for a while at least. more important, you have a nice smile for days. you vented all your steam and are in control. |

pixxie is right. if you act like you could not care less about what some blowhard is saying, it'll get to them. another good way--eventually, they'll spout an incorrect fact or statistic or say something that's completely wrong. you need to call them on it right away, as nicely as you can, in front of a lot of people. |

show them in front of lots of people (especially people that thair opinion is important to them) that you are better without even trying. take the spotlight from them in such a way that they wont be noticed (unless as beening laughed at). it includidng remarks and not only to run faster than them in gym class. you have no idea how much they hate to be showen that someone is so much better than them (memories..:)) |
