At 15 you can do quite alot of jobs. When I was 15, i went to the local cafe and got a job down there waiting on tables. Being 15 you have to remember what ever you do the money wont be great, but get a job, work hard and the when you turn 16 and want to get a proper job, you will get a gleaming reference.

Babysitting???? I wouldn't let a 15 year old babysit any children of mine. Anyway you could have a newspaper round, or actually work in a newsagent but not before 7am. Or what about washing people's cars, grass cutting, or general little jobs around people's house, getting some shopping in for people. Or you could ask in cafe's if they want a waiteress or someone for washing up. |

Depends where you live and how well you get on with members of the community. I worked in a pub kitchen from 13 but my parents knew the landlord, so it was ok. I also worked in a field picking wild oats (yes really) for a while in the school holidays at 14. At 16 I worked in a shop when school finished. My friend's daughter is 12 and she works in the village shop. As with anything now and in the future, it's all about who you know, not necessarily the law - use your contacts. But, don't get taken advantage of or work too many hours - work if you want to - but on your own terms. Go for it. |

Depends where you live. I started shelf stacking at a local supermarket when I was twelve, then when I was 13 I started on checkout. Now I work as the admin officer. Your best go would be supermarkets and cafes, Good luck! |
