flavored teas,or bottled water is good.also a fruit tray would be great.arrange an assortment of different fruits,everyone loves fruit.and since your guest is going to a luncheon the fruit is not really filling so it wont ruin the appetite for there lunch later.i hope this helped,good luck to you.

Since they are going to lunch in an hour I think just beverages such as water. colas, tea hot or cold and coffee. If you feel the need to provide food may just some small sugar cookies or butter cookies on a pretty tray |

Its only going to last an hour and they cant eat juicy, drippy stuff like melon nor crumbly stuff like crackers over the paperwork.
If you keep it plain and simple with filtered or bottled water and a hot water urn for a selection of herbal teas plus a cafetiere of coffee - that gives you all the excuse you need to offer fattening luxury shortbread and wafer thin biscuits. |
