Since any names that are suggested here may already be owned by another party, I wanted to go a different route...
I suggest either hiring a name creation firm or get together with your friends and/or family and throw a "name party" & have everyone bounce some ideas around. Compile a listing of names that you like the best. Once you have that list, do as much free research as you can before you delve into comprehensive research.
I listed some links where you can do some preliminary name checking. However, please be aware that this is merely scratching the surface of what's out there.
Only comprehensive research will tell you if the name is truly available. But, these links are free & a great place to start, so I'd try them out first.
Comprehensive research consists of looking at marks that are similar in Sound, Appearance or Meaning in the pending & registered Federal AND State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files.
There are other sites that offer free searching capabilities in conjunction with their commercial services, so I'm not able to post those links due to the Yahoo! TOS. You'll also want to check domain names & yellow pages, so simply do a search for "free domain name search" and "national yellowpages" and the appropriate links will pop up.

When thinking about a name for a business and considering using your own name, think about where you want the business to end up. Do you wish to grow it and sell it at some point. If so, your name in the company name may put off a prospective buyer. Take some time to think about what your business does for a client and what it might mean to them. Not the process but the result. See if a name comes up that evokes that result. |

Visio, Visible analyst are two of the many work-flow and DFD software design tools. They both count on the visual representation effect that work-flows bring to business.
And system could be the word that describes interrelated activities. I just checked register.com for some available domain names and this one is available www.optisysvision.com "optimized systems vision".

This is simple. Select a name that "Speaks" to the target market you intend to rely on for sustraining your business. Are you marketing to Mom and Pop Shops or to Major Corporate Powerhouses.
The "Last Name" method is generally only effective if there is an established "Name Recognition". Lee Iacocca the automotive industries icon, could get away with "Iacocca Analylitics"
Last, but one of the often most overlooked, and dangerous, areas of Business Naming is "TRADE NAME" Infringement. Is someone else using that name already? Check with local, state, and federal government agencies to determine if your new name is someone's already in use name. |
