Your business plan does not have to be a long complicated document and yes, you will need to start paying on the loan fairly quickly - this will be part of your start up costs.
Business plan: Keep in mind a few important points: why are you starting this business? Why will it generate revenue? (if you are making something - why will people buy it? If a service - why will people make use of it and not do it themselves, etc. How much will your start up costs be? Be realistic have all your costs and plan to operate a business without income for a minimum of six months. Have all your legwork done FIRST: location (have lease details), supplier/vendor names, costs, etc., will you need to hire people (payroll costs, including benefits, insurance, etc.), business insurance, permits.
Now take all of the above into consideration when pricing your service or item. Whatever you charge will have to cover all your expenses and hopefully a little extra for profit.
Good luck - I think you have a lot of research ahead of your before you even consider a business loan. |

If you have good credit go to your local bank or credit union and get a signature loan. if you ask for a small business loan, you need to have a business plan and a clear marketing demographic and plan and some money of your own to contribute. I would say try getting a personal loan first. |

In order to get a business loan from most places you need a really good business plan. You will need to put a house or something down for the loan. Payment depends on the loan! So get your plan together and talk to banks about loans :)

You have to start paying the loan usually a 1 to 2 months after you get it. It depends on how much money you are asking for and what credit score you have for the amount you can borrow and down payment you need. You need to call a loan rep and ask these questions. Ask someone you know if they know of a good loan officer to work with. Don't look in the yellow pages. There are a lot of a$$holes to take advantage of you. Make sure you ask family or friends. It is free to ask. |
