There are countless ways to make money. I think it is a good idea to find something that interests you and try to start a business related to that particular thing. For example, if you like golf I would say you might try opening a pro golf shop or something. Think of what you like to do and what interests you and try to narrow down the business possibilities from there. I don't know where you stand financially, how much capital you have access to for starting your business up and establishing it, so this will definitely be a factor in what business you can actually afford to start. I will say this though : if you are a homeowner and the only resource for start-up capital is to secure a loan with your house as collateral, I would suggest you either choose another business that you can afford to start without the risk of losing your house, or for you to just forget the whole idea altogether and work for someone else and make money that way. If you already own your own house you are better off than a lot of other people. I know people who have been paying rent for years for apartments that they don't even care about. If you have somewhere to sleep at night that you can call your own you're already doing pretty good, and why ruin a good thing? No matter what business you decide to start, no matter how promising and secure you think it is in terms of being successful, no matter how small the risk it is not worth it if you could possibly lose your house to the bank in the event that you cannot pay back the loan. |

if it's that easy to just ask this question, get an answer, and you make a lot of money then everyone would be doing it.
There's no way for anyone to answer that question. Most likely the answers like porn shop or coffee shop or that payday website are just ideas and not reality. Most of them probably do not have a coffee shop or a porn shop to say that it even works. I don't want to be negative, but being a small business consultant, whatever business you do will not succeed. Even if it's a great idea, it's not the idea that brings in the money but the system that supports that idea. |

ALCOHOL. If you can keep a bar spontaneous, it's a gold mine. There's a 300% profit in alcohol. Think about it, you go to a bar, order a shot of something decent, and pay $5-$8. After three hours and 7 or 8 shots, you could have bought a whole bottle of whatever you were drinking. |
