What website pays for taking surveys?

Momof4-5 including my husband
Survey's are not going to make you a sufficient amount of income. I'm not saying don't do them, because the marketing companies do use the opinions of the consumers. However, if your looking into it to make a sufficient amount of income, you will be greatly disappointed. You may run into a few that pay a couple dollars each and transfer money into a pay pal account. However, the time involved in taking the survey ends up being less then minimum wage per hour. You will need to sign up for dozens of survey sites to make money. Most survey sites only allow one survey a day, some one every other day and some once a week. Here's another bummer. You have to take pre-qualifying surveys that you don't get paid for. These take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes to complete. After completing these surveys to pre qualify for a survey that you were already told you prequalified for, you end up not qualifying and waisting that time. With a few more attempts as prequalifying for survey's that your not going to qualify. Some you do qualify for though. but to get to the ones you do qualify for, you spend a few hours a day on all these pre-qualifying survey's. You don't get paid for this time. Another down fall is some surveys that you do complete, right when your finished they tell you they've filled their quota. Now you waisted about 45 minutes of your time. So if your doing it for the income, it's not what it's cracked up to be. I did it for a six month trial as a request from a friend to see if they're real or not. I went to 22 different sites and my friend did other sites, including the ones you have to pay for. Just to be able to say yes or no to people. Some sites are connected to each other and some not.
If your wanting to do the survey's for the principle of the matter then I'd say do it and you can be compensated for the ones that you complete and get the credit for. I know a few places that do work, but like I said all survey sites are not what they're cracked up to be. Occassionally you do get a few "big buck" $25 to $50 dollar ones, but theirs products to test for a period of time, prequalifying survey's and post surveys to fill out. In the end you average about minimum wage.
If you want some links to check out, email me and I'll be happy to send ones that do pay, but remember all the above I mentioned.
If you want to work from home (assuming this is why your wantng surveys) I suggest you start your own home based business.
You won't find any work at home jobs that pay a decent wage. Most only pay minimum wage. If you really want to work from home and make a sufficient amount of income, I suggest you start your own home based business. Having a home based business is great! You need to find something that you believe in and sale a product that everyone needs. The income opportunity is incredible. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don't know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1.
We got involved in the telecommunications industry with a world wide company that's over 15 years old. We've been featured in several magazines Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're already using, or offer them services that they don't have but want? Every time they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It's incredible how much money is involved in this industry.
If you'd like more information feel free to email me and I'll be happy to pass it along to you.

I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business's. There's over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that's interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.

There are many places on the web claiming that they will pay you simply for giving your opinion. It is important that you distinguish between the scams and the legitimate top online surveys companies.

Knowledge
I have been doing online surveys for around a year now & in sharing my experience, have created a guide that offers a detailed look at all the free-paid-online surveys here:

http://erykjay.blogspot.com/

I believe this blog will help you in your endeavors. My video tutorials can help ease the process of entering into paid survey sites.

- All the LEGIT sites listed have 0 membership fees because I have never used my credit card.
- I provide a list of survey sites reported as scams & tips to avoid scams.
- If you don’t live in the US, there International Sites listed as well.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me using the contact information on the page. I will respond as soon as possible.

;>D goodluck!

I made a site listing the ones I use, only 5 of them, but they all have paid at least. There is one that I did not list, and can not figure out how to edit my yahoo page. This one is called Baker St. Solutions (type it in google and it's the first listing). The pay by Amazon gift cards. Only send me about 2 surveys a month that range from $5-$25. Not cash, but you can get some neat stuff on Amazon, and its better when it's free :) But check out my site, I listed how much they pay, when they pay, and how they pay. Good luck!

I remember those days when i almost get mad to find one free survey site that really pay us without charging a fee. The fact is that there are so many survey sites in internet who actually charges a registration fee. I tell you what, run as far as you can, if they ask you money to join their survey site. Any legimate survey site, will not ask you money to join them<!--They actually have to pay us if we join them. Some people do not understand this, and they pay and later they suffer and get frustrated. So is there really any Survey site that pays us? The Answer is, Yes. I am personally getting paid by a Survey site and please find the below website and register yourself for free,

http://freepaidsurveys.awardspace.com/

http://surveyadventure.awardspace.com/

The best part is that, after you register and confirm the email sent, you will have a chance to win a car. The fun part is that they pay you money for playing games. And you get sometimes $50 for completing offers. Check out the offers area when you log in, you earn more. I personally get paid and you could trust them-->since they dont ask you any money, you could give a try, there is nothing to lose. I am sure you will be happy at the end of the week seeing money in your account. Have a great day ahead...!

How do I say this without sounding like every other person on this website promoting their scam websites?....

I'll just be completely honest....

Most of the sites you will find online are scams.
There are even sites out there that do pay you and are still scams.
For example:
Cash Crate - I don't care what anyone says, this is a scam.
They pay you to sign up and give away your personal info, sign up for credit cards, and click on links.
They will pay you for this, but you will be flooded with junkmail and spam.
Avoid it and any other site like it.

Legitimate survey sites are run by market research companies. They have privacy policies, and do not sell your personal info or have you sign up for crap.

My three favorite sites:
Survey Savvy
Opinion Outpost
Harris Poll Online

If you are interested, I keep a running list of reputable survey sites on my webpage. (here is where I start to risk sounding like everyone else).

Yes I have a webpage with a list of survey sites. If you sign up through my webpage I may or may not get money for signing up a referral. If you don't want to sign up through my website, then google the companies yourself and sign up through google. Just be careful and don't give out your personal information to anyone without a privacy policy, and never give out your social security number.

If you are still interested, check out the site:

The one I use is http://www.whichsurveys.com It's completely free and they sort hundreds of survey sites geographically so you don't visit sites you won't qualify for. Then they give you a paragraph or two about each company including details of the payment on offer. For beginners they also have several articles showing you how to get started and to increase your chances of getting more work.
