I think it would be best to come up with a catchy coffee shop name and attach the reptiles or fish to the logos. I do agree with the others that the side-merchandise might be a very good way to incorporate the theme and make some $. My ideas:
Perky's Place (lizard named Perky?)
Buzzy's Cafe (Angel fish named Buzzy with eyes bugged out)
Buzz and Dive Cafe
Captain Janet's (your name there) Coffee Bar and Reptile World.
Third Street (your street there) Aquarium Cafe

People do not think of critters as " appealing ".
Aquariums and Terrariums sound nice and relaxing ( don't care too much for the reptile theme though)

If you went with Glass House or Green House Cafe`, you could merchandise glass mugs with logo animals on them, blown glass animal figurines, a sky is the limit house refill, vegetarian fare/salad specials, all pushing the flora and fauna connection.
Blue Marble Cafe` would work too, if you are aiming for upscale customers. |

How about Wet 'n Wild Coffee Shop?
Seems like there would be many good options for your theme idea.
But, before you go too far, check with the department of health. I'm sure you could put in an aquarium, because I've seen many restrauants around the country featuring them. However, snakes/lizards and other reptiles are another thing and may well prohibited. |

First thing that came to mind after I read the question was:
"Bad A@@ Cafe" w/ a mule/donkey logo 'cause your coffee has such a kick. But upon further review, didn't meet the criteria. So, how about "Lounge Lizard Cafe" or "The Rippin' Reptilian Java House"? |
