Photo repair service; get a good pc with Photoshop and someone who knows how to use it! Or go on a course, or buy a manual.
If you check online, you'll see that people can get their photos printed on a wide range of things like t-shirts and greetings cards, so you need to make your service stand out or slightly different. Maybe focus on customers who don't have broadband so have trouble using online services?
Check out other companies like Snappy Snaps, Boots, Jessops and the online shops. Some photographers will prefer a personal service. |

One thing you could offer is photo restoration and preservation. There are many companies that see services to preserve photos for people. You could find one that fits your needs and offer that service and make a small profit each time someone buys that service. You would kinda be like a car dealer is to vehicle manufacturers, except with photo preservation. Do a search, there are a few copmanies that see you kits. You resell the kits to make a profit. Oddly enough this really sells decently, if marketedly properly. I know a guy who makes 6 figures a year doing this. I also think camera accessories would be a good seller. I think you should offer lower prices or the same prices as bigger competitors, like large electronics stores. You may not make as money at first, but as soon as people hear about it the will start coming in in larger numbers. Good luck! |

How about the cameras and batteries? Loose plastic sheets to augment the number of fully used sheets in the album. Maybe films for those who still want to use cameras with films. |

Wow. Loads. Including: what about offering prints on canvas, mugs, personalised calendars, blown up pictures, a passport photo service - also passport holders in different designs. When people go in to buy their passport photos they will probably pick up a holder to jazz up their passport before their new holiday or whatever.
Anything that you can slap a photo on that someone has taken why not sell it - I've seen it with handbags, purses etc too as well as tins and other things. You could also have a little section with gifts for new baby, wedding, etc. People take tons of pictures for these events and might pick up a little gift too.
Good luck - have a trawl around your competitors and see what they have on show. |

- blank keyrings for small photos, and magnets etc
- special scap books, ie baby's 1st year
- how about mouse mats, bags, t-shirts etc that you can get a customers photo copied on to?
- i would arrange pixiphoto (or similar) sittings where they come and take photos of children with no app'ts needed.
- i'd also sell some advertising space (just low cost) on a board in your shop or window etc, for people with similar or related services.
Apart from that i'd suggest staying quite specialised, don't go shipping in lots of wholesale junk to try and flog! i would go for a middle-higher end of the market, keeping your prices up, but reasonable.
