Isn't there a minimum age requirement for formal employment? I think a work permit may be required in some states.

yard work is your best bet. when I was 13 i had my own lawn mowing business. with the low overhead from my mom helping me get to the jobs I made a a lot of money.

I would ask your parents to see if there is something at there work that you can do Copying, delivering mail, data input.
I wouldn't let a 12 yo have paper route these days, to many nuts around.
