I have my own home based business. I, possibly like you, did not have time to be going house to house doing parties, taking orders and then delivering product. I also had a real want to be at home more, or rather be able to spend more time doing what I wanted to do, rather than the hours at a traditional job not the mention the commute. The solution I found was in a business that did not require that I carry any inventory, that I was able to use my talents for advancement, that has numerous incentives and business support, but I was still my own boss. I have been working from home for 4 1/2 years and it is not a home party plan.
In fact there is no order taking of anything, delivering anything or collecting money. I have 4 children and wanted to be able to work around their schedule and because it wasn't MLM, it DIDN'T cost HUGE amounts to start ... it was exactly what our family was looking for.

If you like numbers, tax time is coming and many tax services and CPA firms will be looking for seasonal help. If you have experience, this can be lucrative. Also, most of these can be done from you home although you will need to have very up to date software and high speed Internet is helpful.
I've been working from my home (although I'm now on the road 3 days a week - kids are grown) for 13 years and love it - don't think I'd ever go back to working for others. |

I know it can be hard to find the right business for you but I have been working from home and it is just the best thing I could have done for myself and my family.
It is a business where everything is set up for you, it has very little start up costs and if you work hard you can achieve fantastic results. I won't lie to you, you do have to do the training and take the time to learn the business but it's all provided for you and if you do, you will reap the benefits.
