Honestly, the only jobs a 12 year old can find are going to be babysitting and house jobs. Actual businesses aren't going to want to hire you if you're only 12. My brother had a hard enough time finding a job and he's 15. Wait a few years and businesses will be ready to hire you. |

i don't think you can get an actual job until your like 16. if you know someone that owns a store or something as them if they could pay you for cleaning up around the place. maybe you could work at your corner store? i dunno. 12 year olds aren't supposed to have jobs. put an ad in the paper saying you could do something you might get popular. |

I think it is great that you want to work and earn money at your age. Right now, the best job you can do is do well with school and do what you have to do. Even at my age (I am in college) I'm advised that my first job is to get good grades because after that its nothing but workYou will be working for the rest of your life. Nowadays, a young person can get a job when they are 16. Till then, I suggest enjoying being the age you are. |

Any family owned business is usually pretty accepting to all ages of employees. Other places probably won't hire you because you're not 16. You could try little ice cream shops, secretary positions at hair salons, or you could try a bagger position at a grocery store. |

E-Bay! Find old stuff you don't use/play with anymore and post it on e-bay. Get your friends / family / neighbors to give you their old junk too - old power tools . . . old wall hangings . . . old toys. Software they don't want anymore . . . anything. Tell them you want to save for something BIG and they can help by giving you junk. Then sell on E-Bay. You don't care what you get b/c it cost you nothing and the buyer pays for the purchase. Check it out! |

Find a neighbor who is elderly and run errands for them. To the corner market or pharmacy. Also read to them or pick up their mail, walk their dog or just visit with them |

Babysitting or cutting lawns for other people.... other than that, in most states you are too young to work legally. |

I would suggest evaluating your skills and interests then deciding. While your mom won't pay you anything maybe someone in your neighborhood would.
It also depends on what age someone in your community can legally be hired for a job. Jobs like the ones you listed are typically done by preteens and teenagers because you can legally do them. |

Get a list of school supplies for your local schools. Put together back to school packs and market them to busy moms and dads who do not want to do the leg work purchasing everything. Since there are great deals and sales now you will be able to put the packs together fairly cheaply.
Put together one as a sample and to figure your costs. If it costs $7.00 to put together charge parents $14.00. Have them prepay so that you are not any up front money. |

If you are into a sport or any kind of activity with a coach, offer to be an assistant for some pay. |

The only job I think you should focus on is your schooling, that way you can graduate and go to college and you won't have to be on here asking about a good job. Stay In School Sweetheart! Focus |

Well you're 12, legally you cannot work. You need to be 16 most places. Babysitting and mowing the lawns is about it. Perhaps go around the neighborhood and see if someone needs their lawn mowed. Maybe walk someone's Dog? At 12, there's little that you legally can do for now. Beggars cannot be choosers kiddo. Good Luck! |

Be an altar boy/girl and you'll get a $1,000,000+ settlement in about 20 years. |
