I use metholated spirits and newspaper. It really works.

Vinegar and water is the best cleaner for your windows, glasses and any glass or clear surface really. When you use it, though, use a cloth with no lint, even an old t-shirt. Your windows will come out great.

an inexpensive way to make your windows spotless & clear:

After washing your windows, use newspaper to dry it (absorb the water). make sure you don't use the same newspaper repeteadly, always use dry newspaper, this will make your windows spotless.
